Admissions offered in the academic year 2025-2026 For the current academic year, i.e., 2024-2025, Gitanjali International School offers admissions to Nursery,PP1,PP2 and Grades I to XI Grade, subject to the availability of seats and eligibility.
Obtaining the application form
Parents who wish to apply for admission should obtain the brochure and application form by paying Rs. 500/-. This can be paid in cash or via demand draft drawn in favour of Sri Chaitanya Bharati Educational Society, payable at Hyderabad.
The application form can be downloaded from the internet, and applicants can apply online with a non-refundable fee of Rs. 1000/-
Criteria for submission of application form
- A certified copy of the School Report of the previous academic year (if applicable).
- Six passport-size photographs and two stamp-size photographs of the student. One photograph each of the parents.
- A certified copy of the child’s birth certificate.
- A certified copy of details, including dates and grades, of any Public/Board Examinations already taken (if applicable).
- A copy of the T.C. (if possible).
- Original documents corresponding to the submitted photocopies should be made available upon request for verification.
- The mere submission of an application form does not guarantee admission to the school.
Placement test and interaction
Admission to GTGS is through a placement test and an interaction. The testing procedure is adapted to suit the age of the child. The placement test will be conducted on the school campus, and parents will be informed of the date and time.
Admission Lists
The outcome of the admission process will be conveyed to the parents after the interaction. The names of the selected candidates will also be displayed at the school office. The decision of the School Admission Committee will be final and binding, and no further discussions will be entertained.
Confirmation of admission
On receipt of acceptance of admission, parents must pay the fees within the stipulated time. The following documents should also be submitted:
- A certified copy of the Caste Certificate (if the student belongs to SC / ST / BC).
- Six passport-size photographs and two stamp-size photographs of the student. One passport-size photograph of each of the parents.
- Transfer Certificate or Record Sheet from the last school attended (if applicable).
- Two passport-size photographs of the attendants who will receive or visit the student.
If, for any reason, the Transfer Certificate cannot be produced at the time of admission, it must be submitted on or before the commencement of the academic session.
Residential Students
Residential students are required to submit the following additional documents:
- A Fitness Certificate
- A Medical History report
- A Blood Group Report
- Undertakings and an agreement signed by the parents
Miscellaneous
In the school/hostel, both vegetarian and non-vegetarian food will be served.
The school will not be liable for any expenses incurred due to illness or injuries sustained by the child during their stay at the school.
Mode of payment
Payment should be made in the form of cash or a demand draft (D.D.) drawn in favor of Sri Chaitanya Bharati Society, payable at Hyderabad.
No outstation cheques will be accepted. Post-dated cheques will not be accepted.

Age criteria for application of admission
Children must meet the stipulated age requirement for admission to GTGS as of June 1st of that year. The required age limit for each grade is mentioned in the table. The age limit may be relaxed at the discretion of the School Admission Committee, based on past academic achievements and performance in our testing procedures, provided the student has graduated from a recognized school.
